Hello, I’m so glad you’re here!

OCD Therapy for Intrusive Thoughts, Doubt, and Overthinking

Specialized treatment using I-CBT to help you break free from mental loops and regain trust in yourself. Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT) is an evidence-based approach designed specifically for obsessive doubt and overthinking.

Rather than trying to manage thoughts or reduce anxiety alone, we focus on understanding how the doubt begins so you can step out of the cycle without getting pulled back in.

THIS MIGHT SOUND LIKE YOU

You might look like you have it together on the outside but internally, your mind won’t slow down.

  • “What if I’m missing something?”

  • “I can’t stop thinking about this”

  • “I need to figure this out before I can relax”

  • “I keep going over it again and again”

  • “Even when I get reassurance, it doesn’t last”

You may find yourself stuck in loops of doubt, overthinking, or intrusive thoughts that won’t let go no matter how hard you try to solve them.

If this feels familiar, you’re not alone. There is a way out of this cycle.

WHAT’S ACTUALLY GOING ON

OCD isn’t always visible.

It often shows up as mental loops. Trying to figure things out, get certainty, or feel “just right.”

But the more you engage with the thoughts, the more stuck it can feel.

It’s a pattern your mind has learned, not a lack of willpower.

HOW I HELP

I specialize in treating OCD using Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), an evidence-based approach designed specifically for obsessive doubt and overthinking.

Rather than focusing only on managing symptoms, we work on understanding how the doubt begins so you can step out of the cycle without getting pulled back in.

I am also trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and integrate other approaches when helpful.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with:

  • Individuals 12+ with OCD

  • Individuals experiencing intrusive thoughts, overthinking, and doubt

  • Scrupulosity (including Christian and LDS perspectives upon request)

  • Health anxiety and OCD-related concerns

  • Body dysmorphic thoughts (BDD)

  • Parents of children with OCD

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK TOGETHER

Our work is structured, collaborative, and focused.

You won’t be left guessing what to do, we will actively work on helping you step out of mental loops, reduce compulsions, and build trust in yourself.

You will learn how to relate to your thoughts differently so they stop running the show.

You don’t have to keep trying to figure this out on your own.
